Bike Path Signs
I'm trying to assemble a presentation for our local group showing the ways in which various rail-trails and bike paths are marked, so that riders can follow the trail. If you have any pictures of your favorite signs taken along tours, please post them here.
Here are three examples from recent trips:
Pawley's Island, South Carolina
Basalt, Colorado
Ankeny, Iowa

Take a look at how the Netherlands marks their routes. Incredibly easy to follow. Every intersection is numbered (and marked on maps), you just follow the numbers from place to place. Everytime you get to a point, it tells you which one you are at (in the green at the top), and which way to go for the adjacent points (in white underneath). They also have common routes numbered such as in the second pic. LF20 is the route, 'a' is the direction.

Here's a few local ones. The two we have without us in front of them at least! Not our favorites but they'll do! @Ty0604 you have better ones I think.
Springwater Corridor. Portland ---> Boring (Oregon)
Trolley Trail. Milwaukie ---> Oregon City (Oregon)

Yeah. I have a lot from last year. These are my 3 favorite ones. I don't think I took the MRT one. I think it was damaged so I found a photo of what it use to look like before. I'd have to check my journal.

Thought this thread was about bike paths/trail, not driving byways.

If you're referring to my first photo then it's both. Goes from Toledo to Conneaut. Most of it is on roads but it's still a trail nonetheless. The signs on the trails themselves weren't as cool as the ones on the roadways.
Referring to the Lake Erie Coastal Ohio Trail. The visitor center in Toledo has/had bicycle maps showing this trail. About 75% on roadways unfortunately.

This turtle sign really is on a bike path, but I forget which state it was in. 😁 And I'll throw in one of the Katy Trail, which is completely on topic. 😎 Nevermind, it keeps giving me errors. I'll try again another time.
