I see deer in the fields some mornings, usually when I go in early. Had one run across the road right in front of me last winter, jumped out of the hedge on one side of the road and went over the hedge on the other side in one bounce.

Not wildlife, but one of the farms I go past en route to our site in Cheddar has a small flock of Guinea fowl which are very free range. It's always amusing to see them crossing the road as they're always in a perfect line astern formation.

Well that's just insulting to rattlesnakes.

A whole family of quail somehow manage to be crossing the MUT when I'm riding by every morning. They're ridiculously adorable.

Wow, I've been surprised by quail exploding out of the bushes on occasion. Everything is nice and quite and suddenly 3 or 4 quail emerge nearby in a flurry... Yeah, I jumped... and yelped... and maybe peed a little...

DON'T JUDGE ME!!!

Not judging, just admiring your bladder control. This is why I developed my LOUD morning song; "Good morning little birdlies, good morning to you, good morning little birdlies, good morning to youuuuuuu!" It works pretty well.

The trail I usually ride on cuts through some parks and then tOSU campus - there are usually deer, ducks, cranes, and geese... oh so many geese! The geese are constantly sitting in the middle of the path, with out a care in the world. I've seen joggers run 100 yards around this section of the path because the geese are aggressive! I'll try and get some pictures next time I'm on the trail.
