Di2 Junction box mount
The type that attaches to your steerer. Any suggestions between these 2 types? And, for a 6 degree stem, would it be better to buy a 7 degree mount if I want to mount it just below the stem?

I use a Fouriers. Works great. Depending on your stem geometry, you may need a spacer between the mount and the stem anyway.

I would get a 7 degree mount, but neither of the ones you posted, unless you have a 31.8mm steerer tube.

Chose those as my new Canyon has that odd 1 1/4 steerer. That's 31.8 I think.

This is the stem. It clearly says 1 1/4. Then again, I'm not too great on all these specs.

I’m just puzzled that ya’ll find that the stem adapter looks better than the rubber band thing Shimano provides.

Wondering if I should just stick that box underneath the stem with double side tape. Probably the cleanest solution? I've got a square profile stem too.

It weird shimano didnt figure out a neater solution to this. The box with the band sticks out like a sore thumb, but the bracket is no better.

think they have most of this years bikes have it built into the frame at least the few bikes I took out for a test ride and many more in the store had them built into the frame

Finally decided to just stick the mount under the stem. So, would you guys suggest Sugru or Blu Tac. Would Blu tac hold?

It's some sort of composite material. I assume it's not parallel because it would then interfere with those stems that people "slam". My stem just so happens to have a decent up angle on it so there's more space. The stem the bike came with was quite the opposite and you could barely see a space between them.
