Curves and fins
Does this Cadillac bicycle from 1959 qualify as C&V? 😁

I think it qualifies. Is that considered a drive side photo? We need to see what’s on it. 😁 I like this, but it would be difficult to carry up and down stairs in an apartment.

If its as heavy as the 59 (or was it a '60)Caddy it was copied from there is no way! I think it its not C&V half of our bikes wouldn't be either.

That fork looks like a generic MTB fork of very recent manufacture. I'm thinking this whole thing reeks of 'retro,' not vintage
Not that there's anything wrong with that. If that stick shift actuates a 5-6-7-8 speed rear cog set, I def wanna take the thing for a spin around the block. Coolest 'bent in town!
@TXsailor, the fin leans more towards the look of the '59.

It was built in 1998, so no, to vintage, but it's certainly classic. "If you want to live in the 1950s again, then Robert Egger's bike is the one for you. This custom Caddy, built out of fiberglass in 1998, dispenses with all design modesty. It was one of several classically styled bikes that he built during the late 90s.." It was exhibit at the Toronto Cycle Show.

I like the idea of an HPV styled like an old sports car, or a big old beast with fins etc, but this isn't it.

That could be a blast with electric assist. I don't see any brake levers, though.

The Q-factor looks awful.
