Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

You start driving the car at the same speed as the bike on a flat road. And you make plans on how to get up that hill.

This happened to me today…

A gorgeous woman rides by and you check out her bike before you check her out, and, you can tell the year and model of the bike by its color / paint scheme.

I need serious therapy...

Your new bike falls over and hits your new car. You check your bike first.

Sadly, this is true... But not yet when anyone is looking.

When you crash, you worry about any microscopic scratches on the bike much more than you worry about your own bruises and road rash.

When you hear The Beatles, "The Long and Winding Road" ... and wonder how long and how winding it really would be -- on your bike.

the background on your computer is of your bike not your wife/family and you secretly flip between your application and your desktop every so often to catch a peek of your bike.
