Actually a nice bike at a reasonable price but pro-level puffery makes this one wacky:
Here is a rare, hard to find Surly Long Haul Trucker touring bike. If you are looking at this ad then you probably know what this bike can do. This bike can handle serious touring load and yet very comfortable.

Comes with a rear rack as shown. I will swap saddle with a generic one. The pedals are not included. But you might already have your own saddle and pedals anyway.

Shows normal sign of wears. There are minor light scratches mostly in top tube area from usage. No dent.

Seat tube length is 23" or 58cm. Top tube length is 23" as well. It's a bit long top tube length than other 58cm bike to provide longer wheelbase.
Rare and Hard to find, unless you know about the 11 Surly dealers within 75 miles of this bike. Oh, and they'll only have Khaki or Black.

Even if it were the right bike, a trials bike with 2 sets of water bottle bosses?

The company apparently sold itself last year and Google image search for this bike is substantially ruined by spin bike fitness clubs of a similar name

I don't see any water bottle bosses on the frame. Perhaps they are like the "seat clamp" mentioned in the ad's copy?

Obviously they must be on the underside of the downtube like some touring bikes. Along with the seatpost clamp....

Really?

Italian made Steven Roche road racing bike 55cm, Campy Daytona triple - $600 (Amelia Court House)

"This Steven Roche road racing frame was hand built in Carrera Italy about 1990 of custom lightweight Columbus Genius butted steel tubing according to the designs of Steven Roche. He raced for the Carrera team throughout Europe and won the 1987 Tour de France. His son recently competed in the Tour of California.
It is rebuilt with Campagnolo Daytona 10 speed shifters, Campagnolo Racing T triple cranks and rear derailleur. It has Chorus brakes, all new Campagnolo cables and housing. This original fork is chromed steel and uses a Shimano Dura Ace headset. The bars and stem are 3T. The saddle is a Selle Straatos. There are some old tires in the picture; I put new ones on it.
There are a few chips & scratches; the white paint shines like new. Don't worry about rust, the whole frame is chrome plated. The seat tube is 55 cm center-to-center and the top tube is 54.5cm creating a 31 inch standover height. This is a good size for someone 5'8" to 5'11".
The bike is clean and rust free with shinny chrome and minimal scratches; it shows only a few thousand miles of riding.
For sale for $650.
See my positive ratings on ebay "barrybiker".
See my other bikes for sale on craigslist. I am retired. Biking is my full time hobby; I ride, build, buy and sell so I can help others get a good deal and then try something new myself.
Call for questions or to finalize a purchase. show contact info
Thanks,
Barry Pullen

(Was torn between here and "Are you in need of a bike fix?" Here won out. Those are all the photos in the ad. None of the entire bike. No pics of near anything described in the copy. Where is the RD? Where is the rear cluster? Is the fork bent? Does it come with wheels? Is this any way to run a CL ad?)

Uncharacteristic of Barry to be this sloppy. He usually does a better ad.

Seller says it's a "61" cm.

Maybe... maybe a 69 cm but geeze... massive. I mean that headtube has to be a foot tall!

I've finally seen a bike that has a head tube that's longer than the fork. Incredible...

I should be fine.
Mount the seat directly to the top tube.

Add some BMX pegs to the rear axle.
Kick off of the peg and hop on with the bike moving

$100

Villager III adult tricycle. Build in the 70's, ridden all over the city, was at the last slaughterama, has placed in mutiple bike races in richmond, and comes with a sick milk crate.

Due to its old design the nut on the back wheel can come off.

More funny than wacky

https://lancaster.craigslist.org/bik/6185439016.html

For Sale are the two bikes in the photos. BOTH BIKES FOR $85.00. The man's bike is a Lenox Columbia. The tires are 26". BOTH TIRES AND BOTH TUBES ARE NEW (See photo 12). They were purchased from the bicycle shop in Lititz (receipt) June 13, 2017. I wanted new tires and tubes for a bike ride my wife and I wanted to do. We did the ride. More about that later.

The woman's bike is a Ross Eurosport with 27" tires. The wheels will clean up and shin, but not as well as the man's bike. These wheels still have some corrosion on them. Also, the rear reflector is missing. The bracket is there (see photo #3), but the reflector is missing. See photos.

Both bikes were on the abandoned section of the PA Turnpike June 20th 2017 where these photos were taken. We had no issues with either bike. The issues were with my body and my wife's body. I am just to fat (100 lbs over weight) for a skinny tire bike. I am not allowed to say why my wife is not interested in riding. (I have been threatened with bodily harm if I say she is 50 lbs, plus, over weight).

Both bikes made the ride but our bodies are letting us know they are not happy with what we just did.

$85.00 for both bikes, not each. show contact info Mike. Text is best. Call leave number if no one answers (please talk slow. I am old). Return email will work also.

Please do not contact me asking if they are still available. If you are reading this, they are still available.
Please do not contact me asking if they come in any other color (Say it with Krylon).
Please do not contact me asking if I will mail them to you.

Happy pedaling.
