Anyone used this wheelset?

Presently, pricing out components for a touring bicycle. I am considering using Mavic Open Pro wheelset. I stumbled across the wheelset listed below in the QBP catalog. Anyone used this particular wheelset?
Alfred E. Bike list for $130.

Dimension Rear Dimension 32h 135mm, Mavic EX325 black

Unless you are really really light and carry no gear i dont tihnk openpro's are a good call... Thats a racing rim... Its really narrow and light. You'd be better off with an MA3 at teh very least.
Besides this wheelset is 26" MTB size... if you have openpros... dont you have 700c wheels?

I am a short dude. 5'6" Tall. 26" wheels are recommended for the small frame. Thanks for the suggestion of the MA3's. I l will check them out.

26" rims? See Peter White

...oh and check out his built 26" wheel sets as well.

for example: LX hubs, Wheelsmith DB14 spokes, Sun Rhyno Light rims, built by me: $199.00.
Lifetime guarantee!

Regarding open pro's, I agree not a good choice for weighted touring. I may try a set for Brevets this year, not sure yet.

Regarding MA3's-nice for midweight to heavy touring. I rode a set Peter White built, last summer on tour from Budapest to Istanbul. I was fully loaded, no problems (and I bought them used). I was probably hovering around the upper limits of their design though, considering some of the roads+the weight carried.
