Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Launched one in an intersection when I was chasing and I tried to pin it against the frame and it locked up the rear wheel. Thought I was going to have an epic high-side crash but my cat-like geriatric reflexes saved the day. Or dumb luck did.
I have never used a non-metal cage. BITD used aluminum but now using King Cage stainless steel. Some day I will move up to Ti.

My cages match my frame materials. I couldn't ride any other way. I believe the Ti one is a King.

The Tacx cages were plastic coated steel, except for the loop at the bottom, which was the weak link.. I have stainless cages on the Seven. They don't mark the bottles much. Some guys use those aluminum cages and their bottles turn black from the cages.

I still have an old aluminum Paramount cage from the 80s. It's 50g.

here's one for you. If you swapped sheep and goats with mice and bears would it work for you? Bonus: post 1990 release date.
