Dang, rough year for many cyclists. Who's Wout van Aert gonna feud with without his best frenemy van der Poel? Those guys seem to need each other for mad-motivation.

Yup, and the was the cream of the pack at the January 2020 Vuelta a San Juan, including crushing the field in the stage 3 time trial on a standard road bike. TT bikes weren't permitted for that event to level the field for the less well funded teams. So basically Remco pulled a Merckx style win, although more with finesse and technique than Eddy's brute force.
