As for Landis, a guy by the name of Heras looked pretty impressive at Postal too. Of course he performed at the Vuelta, but was pretty much invisible for the rest of the season.
I'm pulling for Beloki to have a comeback year. Of course, I'm pulling for Lance (personal cancer connections will make me root for this guy no matter what.) If Lance is going to lose, I want Jan to bounce back and win it. I'd like to see Simoni come back and win the Giro this year. Sprinters, I'm pulling for Zabel. He's been so consistent for so long and just misses so often. I'd like for Cippolini to get a couple of good wins this year to finish of his career. A couple of Major Tour stages and a classic would be great.

Don't forget about these two come tour time....
Menchov and Karpets
Also..I would like you guys to help me form a list of the top 10 best young riders with Tour podium potential......
I'll offer a few names here.....Lets say that they cannot be older than 28.
Danielson(Discovery)
Mercado(Quick Step)
Sanchez(Liberty Seguros)
Rogers(Quick Step)
Who am I forgetting? I know that Basso and Landis are both somewhere around the cut off age. How old are Menchov and Karpets?

I want to see the kids, Cunego and Valverde kick some ass this year. The Giro should be amazing this year with Cunego and Basso going head to head. I think Cunego is the only rider around that can challange Lance in the TdF (that's if lance gets his a** in gear... though he was supposed to be doing the classics this year so shouldn't he be ready??)... i think if Cunego is on form, he could actually win both Giro and TdF... he won races all year long in 2004 and was the UCI points leader at the age of 23, that's pretty amazing. I'd like to see Basso do well too. And of course i'd like to see Ulrich do something... man i don't know what i would do if i came second to the same person that many times... he would have won the TdF 7 times by now if it wasn't for lance. I'd like to see another kid, Sella do something too this year too, he was pretty impressive in last years giro. and i love the way that Flecha rides.. that guys knows how to put his head down and go... Vino should have taken a look at how Flecha does it, then he might have won the final stage of Paris-Nice... what was up with that??

Yeah, I know. I'm not saying he's never finished a grand tour, just that he didn't finish any last year. This may be his last year racing. It would be nice to see him finish a full grand tour, that's all. And win a stage or two here and there while he's at it.

This is my first tour that I've actually followed a bit, and I'm all about Julich. He's my dog, yo
Though Lance is Texan, so I do have an affinity for him.

Cunego, clearly.
Mercado
Not sure of Menchov's age, he may qualify. Karpets definitely qualifies, as he took best young rider in 2004.

I really want to see Hincapie get a big win.
After RVV, Im also looking forward to seeing how Boonen does.
Beyond that, Bettini is always a great rider, I really like watching Cunego lay the smack down, and while Im not a fan of sprinters, Zabel is a bit deeper than most and Id like to see him take a few good wins.
And Iron Chef, Im really looking forward to the full-scale rioting thats about to go down here in Chapel Hill when we beat ya'll tonight
