25c tubes, 28c tires?
This may be a stupid question, but any harm using 25c tubes in 28c tires? Is the tube sizing really that important?

It'll work fine.
Most tubes are marked to fit a range such as 23-25 or 23-25-28 etc.
Putting it into a 35mm tire may be stretching it pretty thin in spots?? A little faster air loss & a tic less flat protection.

This is an old BMX trick to slightly lighten the rotating weight. Use a skinnier tube then the tire's profile. The tube will balloon up to fill the space in the tire/rim. If the day to day air loss is too great or the tube flattens with no punctures through the casing you'll know you went too far in the miss matching of widths. Andy

Thanks. I'll just use them and live on the edge. Of more concern to me is that I've mounted my only remaining GP 4000s. Dammit.
