Is this worth taking a look at?
I found this on Craigslist yesterday and am trying to decide if it would be worth taking a look at. I've been on the lookout for a new project bike. I would either keep it as a FGB as a backup to my 722TS, or I would consider using the frame and rebuilding it back up as a geared bike. Just looking for opinions. Thanks in advance to all responders.

For those parts at that price, I'd walk away. I wouldn't pay more than $220 for that, even assuming I really liked the way it looked.

The head tube looks large enough to be a 60cm frame, but there's no way he's only 5'9" and riding it.
Being a lugged Bianchi it's probably not as genetic as a lot you see. Wonder what the steel is.
Dunno about the pricing, me being a furrinner and all.
It's a bit of a patchwork quilt of bits though. You'd need to work out of it's worth that to you and if it is pricey, will you ride it long enough for that not to matter.

Other than the frame there is not too much valuable on the bike. And $500 is a lot for an early 90s upper mid-range steel frame with a mismatched fork.

That would be be a nice bike if it was still geared. Def not worth $500 maybe $220 at the most.
