DT swiss 460 rim question
I want to use a 460 to build a rear wheel. The rim is tubeless compatible but I want to know if it has traditional spoke holes in both walls. I don't run tubeless but I don't want the pain of building a wheel that the nipples have to be feed in one-by-one. It seems a some tubeless are made both ways.

There are very few tubeless rims made with fully sealed beds that don't require tape to seal them(some Shimano road rims are made this way). All of the DT Swiss tubeless rims, that I have used, have spoke holes through the inner wall to access the spoke nipples and require tape to seal them.

I built up a set of wheels on DT460s a few months ago. They are just like any other double wall clincher box rims regarding spoke drillings. The guy who sold them to me though recommended "tubeless" rim tape because Velox might make the tires too hard to get on with tubes in there. So two wraps of Stan's no tubes rim tape on each rim, 28mm tubes and 28mm tires... no trouble at all.
They don't have eyelets though. Here is one rim side by side with one of my old MA40s.

460 is a really nice rim for the money. They are laced normally--no special nipple gymnastics required.

So next question. I carefully measure the hub a Novotec F482fs and it was the same as the specs given by Nocotec on there website. Then I used the DT spoke calculator and on a 2 cross rear both sides it gives me 282 for drive side and 287 for non drive side. That seems to be much more than the typical 2mm difference between drive side and non drive side. I ran cals on other spoke calculators to confirm.
So can a 5 mm difference be within reason?
