Which cycling blogs and vlog to follow for a newbie
Which cycling blogs should a beginner follow? I am middle aged man cycling for fitness and weight loss. I am looking for good blogs and vlogs on youtube with good content made by average cyclis, espcialle following improvements in the sport. I do follow some of the biggest on youtube like GCN, Julia Elliott, VeganCyclist, Oz cyclist, AverageJoe, but looking for inspiration for fitness, weight loss, bike maintance by less professional channels. Especially blogs from cyclists starting from scratch and people who vary types of riding, like commuting , gravel, road racing and zwift.

Francis Cade (UK-based YouTuber, makes cycling videos with his mates. The world needs more bluntly spoken Gen-X bike fitters doing little dances to the Yoda seagull song on the sides of Vietnamese highways. Seriously.)
Lawrence Carpenter (One of the mates)
Path Less Pedaled (Gravel, touring, utility Fred stuff)
Spindatt (Gravel etc. There's another guy on YouTube who I seem to mistake for this guy. Similar look, similar videos.)
Bike Radar (Some refreshingly non-commercial content in Bike Radar Diaries; reviews etc as well)
Phil Gaimon (Ex-racer, KOM hunter, seemingly decent guy)

You may find leonardmlee on YouTube has some of what you are looking for. He is a 50 something year old cyclist with decent content for those of us who are not racers. www.youtube.com/user/leonardmlee

I like Katie Kookaburra, she’s one of my favorites, she does a lot of long distance cycling and Audax and she also posts her fails as well as successes so it’s not just I rode 400km NBD videos.
Also Chris Prichard Cycling News is good. He does a lot of Zwift races and streams them so you can learn a lot of racing tips, and it’s always fun to watch sprinters wind it up to 1200watts.
And Keira McVitty, a young racer as she navigates training and riding.
I also sometimes follow the Zwift vBlog but that has a lot of pros and elite athletes so that might not be what you’re looking at.

IMHO, the ultimate average guy cyclist is Leonard M Lee heavier middle aged dude in the UK but totally puts the miles in, a real tell it like it is kinda guy.

Ride on Cycling
A lot of great channels to check out here, thanks! One of the vlogs I forgot to mention is Ride on Cycling. Its made by a canadian woman living in the UK. Great info for beginners and very down to earth girl who started from scracth commuting to work and now do all kinds of cycling.
