August 2012 Foo Photo Contest - We have a winner!

The very appropriate theme for August is Non-Nature Macro, chosen by June's winner, cuda2k.
Rules:
Theme: Non-Nature Macro
- You must be the photographer
- One photo per person
- Try to make the photo recent

Good luck everyone!

Alright, enough talk, put up some photos you two. Haven't made my selection for this month yet, but with my recently purchased macro lens, nothing is safe from my shutter.

I want to see someone make some art with a macro lens from fluorescent lighting glistening on the dust in the canyon between two keys on the keyboard. That's my challenge to all you out there. Make it happen.

I already had a photo I was planning on entering, but after seeing arkansasgal's entry I can already see that I'll have to do a LOT better! So it looks like I'll have to get my brain into gear.

Very nice Chris. Could you give a description on exactly what this is? I see several different things.

It's a splash. The camera is set up to take the photo at the precise moment a pebble (or something) is dropped into the pool (bowl/pan) of water. It would likely take several tries to get a good shot.

Is that right Chris?

I haven't tried doing that yet, but I see a lot of others doing it on the photography sites I frequent.

As for my August entry ... unfortunately my little camera, which I have with me on this trip, doesn't do macros very well.
