Put this 2016 Gallium together to replace a well-loved 11-year-old Merckx CHM, whose seat tube had disintegrated right at the top. I'm liking it and riding nearly every day, as much as my body allows at 69.

The 2002 Mercian Vincitore fixed-gear (seen here on a Dos Eno 17/19T freewheel) -

- and the 1971 Gitane Tour de France fixed-conversion that gets all the Summertime early morning love -

- and the 1976 Puch Royal X that I still believe is my old one from way back somehow back home to me, like ol' Bodger in The Incredible Journey - photo taken before I replaced the Shimano 600 EX with a SunTour Cyclone mated to a VXs cage -

64 and never stop riding

New to the forum, as mentioned about to retire in December and decided to refurbish my 1990's Schwinn Beach Cruiser vs buy new. I know how this one feels and rides so it made since! Everything is new except the frame, rims and derailleur. I cleaned "everything" and put some mid-rise (9") handlebars, mini chrome fenders and an old Wheaties Cereal mini license plate TX 1954 (year I was born) on it to trick it out a little!

I was stationed in Germany 74-76 US Army. I had a Motobecane and a group of us would take weekend trips through an area known as Little Switzerland. Great times! First Motobecane I've seen since then. Brought back old memories!

You don't see cable guides like that often. There was a thread on C&V about these cable guides. This is a neat bike.
