Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". Replacement tires for the Schwalbe Rapid Robs?

I have been riding a 2016 CAAD X that I modified to be more gravel riding specific for about 6 months. The Schwalbe Rapid Rob original tire fitment needs to be replaced and I'm looking for tire replacement suggestions. The Rob's are 700 X 35 and I am thinking of increasing the size to 37-38 mm. Has anyone done this? I would appreciate any suggestions or advice as far as tire clearance, ease of mounting, tire brands, etc.

Some more info on the type of surface you're riding on would be useful and whether it's road or more gravel orientated and whether puncture resistance is a priority or if you'd prefer a lighter / more supple tyre instead.

Gravel King SK's are a pretty good all round tyre that come in various sizes.

yeah, what he said. There are a lot of tires out there that range from racy slicks to small mountain bike tires. Ya gotta know what you are looking for.

If you like Schwalbe, one of the G-one variations will meet your needs. Other good tires are WTB and Panaracer Gravel King. there are lots of articles if you do a search.
