mid 90s Proflex 755. My bike friend had this hanging on his wall. He pulled it down and gave it to me so I had to build it. He put a coil spring from a cheap diamondback instead. Maybe it will get some new elastomers someday. Disappointed there's no derailleur hanger. I've got a chain tensioner hanging on an axle mounted derailleur hanger. PRetty desperate. Fun to ride, however.

New to the forums...looking for suggestions and other info.
Here's a picture of my 1992 Trek Antelope 850.
I pulled it down off the storage hooks this weekend to give it a tune-up and hopefully convert to a commuter bike.
Looks pretty much the same as the day I bought it back in 1992...just missing the wheel reflectors.

Looks a little different from the 1991 MB zip shown in the blog pics.
The chainstays are not as tall near the BB. The rear derailer is routed on the top tube instead of the downtube. The dropouts are different, they don't have a void in them.
The one on the mombat site shows solid dropouts like yours, though.

I'm sorry Lester cause my english is really bad and I did not make a translation but I explain in my blog that I change the cable routine of the rear derailleur and put a Campagnolo cable routine over the bottom braket shell for the front one in a more 70" style but I didn't change any tube at all and has you can see on the blog I had the frame completely stock first then I "breezerized" it....

This is my '98 Trek I ordered and bought 11-12/97. 1998 was a transition year for Trek's mountain bike frames, mainly geometry (my LBS ordered two sizes for me because he'd only recieved his new product info the day before)and may be the inagural year for the Alpha series aluminum, not sure. The bike was advertised in Bicycling magazine and I felt it was what I was looking for, must've been. 
The first few bikes had some STX-RC upgraded to LX and the LX RD to XT. The original Indy fork was soon replaced by a Judy SL. This bike has has a ton of miles now.

I love the color scheme you've got going on there with the yellow on the fork, red pedals, and the brown saddle with the matching tires. Very complimentary! Sporty yet classic.
