squealing v brakes

so on my v brakepads there is a squeal that just wont go away.

i bought some new brakepads and had someone installed them but i notice the problem is on the rear brakes and not the front.

i have tried cleaning the rimwalls with citrus degrease and alchool, sanding the brakepads and then using alchool to clean after.
i made sure the toe in was good.and i noticed when i brake the rear brakes the frame where the dropouts is it flexes.
any help would be good!

Try fiddling with the toe adjustment: Make sure the pads are square top-to-bottom. If front toe in isn't working for you, try adjusting them square to the rim. If that doesn't work, try making the heel of the brake pad hit first. Whatever you do, eventually the brake pads will wear themselves in.

My bike had a chronic squeal problem (for an embarrassing number of years). I finally tried the "toe out" solution I heard about on this forum and it worked.

its kinda funny i didnt try this but i thought about doing the toe in with the back of the break touching first instead of the front but i went to a bike mechanic and he just did it like that and the squeal is gone lol.

If the frame flexes during braking, you can consider installing a brake booster. Reduces flex and squeal and improves efficiency.

This^^^^^

I have on two occassions had a brake booster cure v-brake squaking. And the difference in braking can be very significant if your stays are flexing.
