Just to be clear, again, I've never adjusted the fore
/aft in relation to reach.

++Yoga! Discovered an instructor teaching yoga for the back >2 years ago. It's a tremendous benefit to me. Doing 1/2 - 1-1/2 hrs. at least three AM's / week at home.

I've suffered with lower back pain for years. That will always be with me to some extent but since I began core exercises some years ago I mostly am able to ignore any back issues. I don't do official yoga but do some of the poses and exercises. This is good for cycling musculature and it is good for breathing muscles as well.

Wow! Didn't realize this thread was still going. As recommended by a previous user, I've been doing these core exercises: Core | Bicycling
Major improvement, even did my first 50 mile ride last week with no back pain!
