Just the basic fact that most women are perverts. Plus I was nearly run over a couple times, because of their women ogling me, lol. 🙄😁😉

Keep in mind, I‘m using smilies here, to make it clear (?) that I’m joking. Their women are probably not any more perverse than any other women. 🤔😁😉

That’s a ‘95 Killer V 500, obviously with no suspension like the Super Vs. From what I read, the cutaway gives you better crotch clearance, especially on downhills. Plus it’s just way stronger than most frames, which is why it’s good for touring. 👍

Back to the Pervy Women of Davis CA, I bet that's the first thing they noticed. Were their ears clearly visible?

Glad to see you're making good progress, hopefully you can make up to Chico, very nice area.

Your picture of the Davis city limits sign reminded me of some pictures I took near there while riding south.

My wife reported the fire to 911, and we just waited around to see what would happen.

Morning Doug, makes me think of all the times having to ride through smoke from purpose lit fires to clear the roadside brush throughout my trips in Latin America. This would have been the worst one, but was able to get through it holding my breath and going as fast as I could (but first waited a while for side wind to die down)

That does not look like fun. You probably undid some of the health gains accrued from several hundred miles of riding. Not to metion, smoke is bad for your complexion

Photo made it look worse, seems to me some much smaller ones were worse for smoke and heat from flames, and I really waited until wind let up., Unfortunately my ugly mug can't be blamed on brush fire smoke.
Seriously though, the truck and bus traffic belching out black crud really did end up making me sick with a cold and chest stuff. Had read of others similarly affected, and Guatemala was the worst, vehicles often in terrible shape and chucking out diesel particulates like there was no tomorrow.

I’ll have to make this quick, I’m stealing electricity, to charge my phone. 😲😁😉 Actually, there’s a big demonstration at the capitol building right now, so I should be safe. I walked through a big ole crowd, downtown.

A couple pics, mostly I wanted to point out the sea lion, right behind that lone boat, relaxing on the pier. 😎 I wouldn’t think that’s very common here. 🤔 He must have swam up one of these rivers, from the ocean. Or maybe he ran away from the zoo? 🤔😁😉

Yeah, I noticed Chico on the map, and might end up there. I wasn’t paying attention, & Memorial Day snuck up on me. 🙄 I’ll have to try to hang tough here a few days, to give Sacramento a fair chance. 🙂

On the positive side, I’ll probably scarf a nice tent from craigslist, on Tuesday. After the alleged holiday. 😁

Hey, are we allowed to post pics of wild turkeys here? 🤔😉 I slept near a river last night, and was being lazy this morning, and smoking a bowl, when this lady brought her babies by for a visit. I counted 7, including the pokey one. 😁😉

OK, so nobody likes wild turkeys. How about a real live Shimano Crane? 😁 All you have to do, is name a crane Shimano, and the rest fixes itself. 🤔😁😉

Meet Fred! He stops by my field for a snack every morning now. Last year it was a Mom and Dad with 12 chicks.

After a leisurely two day crossing of the Black Sea from Bulgaria this is one of the first things you see after disembarking in Georgia.

Hi, Fred! 😁 I’ll look at that vid later, they tend to kill your phone battery. 😉

I also saw a redheaded woodpecker yesterday, several times, but couldn’t get any decent pics. They have bright red heads, as their name implies, lol, with several white highlights, but the rest is a dark brown, that blends right in with tree bark. Plus he kept in the shade, like I did, since yesterday was the 4th day of 100* F temps. 😟 A high of around 85* F today will be nice. 😎

Well, I gave Sacramento a fair chance, and it paid off. 😁 I missed that tent, but scarfed a 1986 Schwinn High Sierra ATB. This thing ROCKS! 😎

I did get out of Sacramento this morning, just relaxing now, at the Gibson Ranch Park.

between Glock gun references, porti potty (here in Canada these are those portable bathrooms, usually blue and often with corrigated sides like the wall in this photo) and the ambigious between the lines who knows what they are referring to about payment for rendered services.... makes this a curious photo Mr Gerry.
You tend to share your trip photos in dribs and drabs, but they are always interesting.
