Loving my new (to me) Volae Sport!
Hi all, this is my first recumbent and I am feeling very good about it!
I picked up a Volae Sport last week and I’ve already gotten very used to it. I think I got very lucky, not knowing what I was buying in regards to size, etc.
It happens to be a medium size. I am 5’ 8.5” and it fits me like a glove. I think if I were 5’11“ it would be too small.
I dialed it in pretty quick and am already leaning that seat back. Sooooooo comfortable!
Had I known it was going to be such a great riding position I would have gotten one a long time ago.
These things are awesome!

Thanks, everyone!
Being a career public servant, I’ve been lucky enough to afford some nice Cannondales and even a hand made Gunnar, but none of them come close to the enjoyment I get out of this thing. I’ve been riding it every day, twice a day, for 1-2 hours at a time. I am always looking forward to the next ride!

Also, you might have gotten used to the position and steering, but wait (usually several weeks) until your muscles adjust to riding bent.
Let us know how your riding goes. I found, on level ground, after about a year, I'm about 2-3 mph faster on my bent, and a good 4-5 mph faster on my velo.
They are both slower going uphill, but I was always pretty slow going uphill even on uprights.
