Hello, I am Petit Breton "El Argentino", I am 46 years old and I have been cycling since 1994. I am a lover of road and track bikes. lover of cycling history. lover of the history and evolution of the bicycle. I've put together some single speed and fiexie gear bikes. I have restored some road and track bikes. I became a member of this forum since I consider that there is a high level of knowledge among users and that will enrich my knowledge. Hello from Argentina I wanted to ask you what is C&V ???? Although Argentina is not a world cycling power, it knew how to have very good cyclists at the Pan-American level on track and on route. in addition to having good makers of bicycle frames (framebuilding) in an artisanal way and also at an industrial level. There were good manufacturers of bicycle parts or components in the 60s 70s and early 80s. Argentina is a large country in area but small in number of inhabitants, around 40,000,000 inhabitants. but it has a lot of cycling history due to European immigration.

Much gusto de conocerte. Where in Argentina are you from? Much of the cycling was originally in the northwest, right? The traffic is crazy in the large cities; have things gotten better for cycling?
I have a bike from Argentina, a Roger Saavedra. Pretty much all the parts were made there as well. One of these days I need to rebuild it. The frame is beautiful.
