This is one of the most beautiful recumbents I have seen. Prettier than my ReBike. Its a steal for less than $200.
I am sure you will be as fast or faster than my ReBike with this beauty. I was going 75 mph down the mountain switch backs on my cross state ride today and I passes a lot of packs of riders.
The seat on your bike is the way all recumbent seats should be made. Enjoy!!!

I would not call this a recumbent. But rather, a crank forward bike.
About Walmart shoppers. They're not all 300lbs. I've seen some pretty weird shoppers at Whole Foods as well, hippies that stink worse than anything in the store. In any case, someone who is 300lbs could be that way because they don't ride bikes. Hence, we'll never find out the answer to 300lb on this Huffy POS.

Besides, the Huffy Venice is no longer made - for the past 10-15 years. The only way you'll find one to buy might be at a garage or estate sale.

Seat to pedal placement looks just like the Rans crank Forward design, Some people love those Rans CF's
But the bike the Op showed, I've seen several in the wild, every one was In the back of some bike shops pile of Unwanted bikes,,way way In the back.

I saw one 'in the wild' once, being ridden by a 14-YO girl. She was obviously riding around the block with her younger brothers and sisters. RANS crank-forwards (CFs) have similar geometry, but that's where the likeness ends. There's a world of difference, both in price and cost, between the two.
While I think the RANS CFs can't be beat, the problem with them is that their target audience is the occasional rider who doesn't want to spend $1700-2500 for a bike, and ends up getting a much lower-quality but less expensive Electra.
