The tubing on those changed over the years, so if there’s a sticker saying what it is, that will help narrow down the year a good bit

Here's a Grand Touring I painstakingly restored for a very close friend of mine as a commuter when he didn't want to ride his Le Champion to work on his daily commute. It was in atrocious state originally as you can see here.

This one was a mid-70s model, '75 if I remember, but that was a while ago. Most will have a sticker in the following location telling you what the tubing was - either 1020, 2040, Vitus, or Reynolds 531, I swear there was a year or two where the latter was a thing, but may be confusing with Grand Record.

Anyway, look here on your bike. And possibly at the top of the fork blades. Are there any numbers or tubing details? Serial numbers will do nothing to help us date the bike.

The head badge, decals, and serial number can help zero in on it. If you upload some pictures, we can be more helpful. You can't post pics until you have 10 posts, but I think you can upload them and someone here can find them in your user gallery.

Here's a link to some head badges with rough date ranges.

VeloBase.com - Head Badge Gallery

I had a post somewhere in which I posited an order and tighter date ranges but I can't find it right now.
