Dirty Huret Jubilee rear derailleur & frozen shifters
Huret Jubilee rear derailleur from a 1973 Raleigh Competition - I gave it a cursory wipe and it appears to be all there and functional, but I have no time to deep clean and polish it back to the state of bike jewelry it truly is. The shifters are from the same bike and are stuck in the position they came to me in and again, I have no time to deal with them. The front mech is long gone. How does $60 shipped in the continental U.S. sound?

Imagining Jean Marais in a wool jersey sagging heavily and asymmetrically in the back under the weight of the magnum 44 in the rightmost pocket. He pulls it out and the jersey is still sagging.
"Ai-je tiré six fois ou seulement cinq? Je ne m'en rappelle plus, mais bon. Ceci est un quarante-quatre magnum, le pistolet le plus puissant du monde. Donc tu dois te demander une question: Me sens-je chanceux? ...Alors, te le sens-tu...connard ?"
At this point, the movie ends.

Non, non. M. Dirty Huret, hardboiled detective, would probably prefer the French firearms equivalent of a French bike - something designed in France, using a cartridge developed in France that no other nation ever adopted, something with its own odd quirks. May I suggest the SACM 1935A in 7.65 Long, a French adaptation on the cartridge developed for the obscure Pedersen device c.1918. No other nation chose this cartridge for service use - thus, it’s the pistol equivalent of 25.0/22.0 Nervor steerers and 35x1 right hand Bb threads on both sides ....
