custom Colnago build - pictures

I did a build thread on this but here are the final "pro" pics.

This is a bike that combines Italian Colnago with US craftsmen JP Weigle and Jon Williams. The frame is a 1982 Colnago Profil CX with crimped top and down tubes and fully chromed rear socks , head tube lugs and fork. The fork is an aero profile CX. The frame was refinished by Peter Weigle in a soft green color with yellow graphics. I have built the frame with a component group modified by Jon Williams.
  • Campagnolo Record headset and bottom bracket
  • Campagnolo Record crank set, de-anodized, profiled, mexico-ed and polished
  • Campagnolo chain rings, milled, drilled and black anodized
  • Campagnolo Record SL pedals
  • Campagnolo Super Record front derailleur with drilled cage
  • Campagnolo Super Record rear derailleur
  • Campagnolo Super Record shift levers, smoothed and polished
  • Regina CX-S 6 speed freewheel, 13-24
  • Campagnolo Record brakes, de-anodized and polished
  • Campagnolo Nuovo Record brake levers, de-anodized, drilled, milled, polished and painted
  • 3ttt handlebars, de-anodized and polished
  • Newbaums cloth tape
  • Cinelli 1A stem, de-anodized, milled, polished and painted
  • Campagnolo Super Record seat post, polished and painted
  • Selle San Marco Concor saddle
  • Campagnolo Record hubs, 36h, low flange, polished
  • Sun MK13II rims, clincher, 36h, black anodized
Jon modified the stem, shifters, brake levers, crankset, chainrings and front derailleur.

Very nice.

the handlebar tape got deflated
was channeling the Darth Vader side of the Michelin Man

i have to wait for the auto parts stores to open to further improve the paint on my Blue Colnago... but I have this rat rod Gios that will probably get built first as the geometry is interesting.
