Hi! From Baton Rouge, LA
New owners of (2) Trek Verve 2’s. My girlfriend and I are ~60 years old and regularly work out and take in spin classes. We are close to retirement and are beginning to enjoy 10-15 mile, bike rides for exercise and pleasure. My first post is asking the forum for advice on bike necessities ( bag for spare tube(s), levers, patch kit) and possibly a phone mount.
Hoping to learn a lot here.
Thank you!

Welcome to the forum from Metairie. I keep a spare tube, a patch kit, a few tire levers and a multi-tool in my seat pouch. I wrap a couple of wraps of Gorilla tape around one of the levers. It can serve to effect "come home" repairs on a tire slice. I have a frame pump on all my bikes. I can't make a recommendation on a phone mount. Ask your questions down in General Cycling. You'll get better responses.
I too am approaching retirement and finding a cycling friendly area is a top priority.

Thanks for the reply. What is a must have on a multi tool? I like the Gorilla tape idea.
