I messaged the seller and told him I'd be a serious bidder for this, but I'd need some better pics. That pic is so bad, I'm beginning to think its intentional. You cant really tell anything by that pic. You cant tell if it has a headbadge, has been repainted, frame dents or anything. Color me dubious.
If you hear anything back, I'd be curious. I'd planned to bid, but if others here are going to, I don't want to get stuck in a bidding war against other BF'ers.

I was thinking along the same lines. I originally had a "Anyone in NH nearby want to facilitate?" in the post and I really meant it. Then I realized ... chances are this will close out north of $500 anyway and the risk is too high with one potato quality pic supplied.

I hate it when this happens, this Bianchi needs to be found, and retuned to the rightful owner.

It sits in the garage at my BIL's house in Emmerting, Bayern.
Totally unassuming bike. I don't even bother to lock it at the station.
I bought it thirty years ago and it has never failed me.

Gotta be one of the shortest-lived CL postings I've seen. No point in posting the link; it's gooooooone.
Turns out it was an '85 PSN10, mostly original but bathed in barn/basement dust. Dude posted it at about 8:00PM last night, I Emailed him around 10:00PM; someone was already on his way up from Dubuque (2 hr drive each way) to pick it up.

1986 Shogun 700 in Cedar Rapids, IA. Not in the cards for me right now, maybe somebody else here will snag it.

Assuming you factor in the price of getting a vintage Deore XT to replace the reliable-but janky Atlus on the back, is $400 a good price for a MB-1?

I have one of CL versions in 24 in. so it fits me, its a bit rough and frame only so well down the queue. Trying to decide on finish and may do a gun bluing treatment that I have seen turned out very cool.

Not sure. Thought I still had the ad up in my browser, but I guess not. Maybe $625? It definitely seemed like a run-don't-walk situation.
