LAVRA TIme Trials at VSC

The next LAVRA TT is on April 28th and MEA and I will be there for the morning and afternoon sessions. This is a very early roll call to line up team competition.

FIFY.

I'll be there. I'm bringing my large friend.

BTW, MEA does not have to do team pursuit with the men. We can kick her to the curb. Better yet, keep her and kick me to the curb.

I'd join your team, but I don't have a track bike, have never set wheel on a track, and am slow and prone to crashing when I can't brake.

Let's see, important road race on Saturday (San Luis Rey), unimportant crit on Sunday morning (but I have to get my money's worth out of the discount card that I purchased from the promoter), and a team or individual pursuit on Sunday afternoon? Count me in! Or maybe not. Oh, and that will be my 4th weekend in a row of racing so I should be well rested by Sunday afternoon. I'll probably do it (individual or team, if a team will have me) because I really did have fun last time. I also probably need to see a psychologist about this racing addiction.

Okay, MEA found a 4th for team pursuit. It is one of the 45+ female track racers from NorCal who is racing in LAVRA TT. She and MEA are very similar in pursuit time. She won the team pursuit at Masters Track Nationals in 2010 in Frisco TX and won a bronze medal in team pursuit at the elite track nationals in Carson in the same year. We can do a 3k or 4k depending on what people want to do. So we have our first mixed team of two men and two women for team pursuit.

I'll probably see you there, Hermes. After seeing the schedule for Masters States (everything crammed into one day), I need to figure out my event priorities.

Registered. I will be at VSC on Thursday for the 4PM Racer session and Friday for aero testing. I will probably be there on Saturday and race on Sunday.

Hermes, so it you MEA, MEA's friend, and me? If so, I'm good for either distance as long as I can hang on.

From a Team Pursuit practice with Hermes and Velodiva. I really need to get on some aerobars. And that gap is 100% my fault .

SLR? I'll be down there... but doing the softie category (30+ 4/5) since it is same time as my wife's race.

OK, I'm in for SLR (San Luis Rey for the others) too. Fortunately, the 55+/60+ race is only 44 miles. We start 5 minutes after those punk kids like Racer Ex (45+). I want to race a crit on Sunday morning before the VSC TTs but I probably shouldn't.

I am packing for the trip to LA leaving tomorrow and hoping to get to VSC by 2PM. The agenda is attend the 4PM racer session with Roger, Retul fit on my new track bike and aero testing on Friday from 8AM to 1PM. Team pursuit practice on Saturday and race TTs on Sunday. There is a lot of crap to organize to get ready for this trip.

We are doing the 4PM session with Roger focusing on IP and 500. I do not think we will stay for the 7PM.
