Does anyone own one of these? If so, could you give me your take? Appreciated!

I have the Fastroad SLR and I'm loving it. I've had a Giant Escape and Fuji Absolute prior to this hybrid and must say this is truly a "flat bar road bike". I'm just as fast on this bike as my Giant Defy. The ride is very comfortable plus it looks great!
Hope this helps

I do group rides with roadies who have super expensive carbon road bikes $4000+ and I have no problem hanging with them in our fast group. It doesn't slow me down at all.

I have a 2015 CoMax 2 and have been thinking about selling it to get a 2018 CoMax 1.

It's basically a road bike with flat bars is all it is. I did change out the tires from 25mm to 28mm and it made a world of difference on bumpy sections of roads.

What 28mm tires you change out to. This Comax bike can shake your dentures loose when you hit bumpy sections.

Continental Grand Prix 4000s II 700 x 28.

Also found out I could fit a 700 x 32 tire on the bike.

I squeezed wider than that on it.

I got the Fatsroad Comax 1 2018, I've had it for 6 months now, and I love it, to me, seems very fast and the 105 groupset works very smoothly, very crisp when changing gears,

I had one puncture, and the tubeless tires did their job, the sealant plugged the hole, although I did have to replace the tire. Mine came with 28mm AC1 tubeless tires, ( there has been some debate as to what pressure you should run them at, on the Giant video, the guy says run them between 85 -125 psi as marked on the tire )

They only thing I am looking to change is the saddle, to me, it is not the most comfortable, but I don't ride with bike shorts, I find the Selle SMP saddle on my Trek DS 8.5 a lot more comfortable.

I wanted a rear mirror extending from the bar ends, but the LBS said it was not possible unless I changed the grip and bar ends.

That would be part of the reason why.
