Raleigh Back Alley Handle Bars
Hello Folks,
I need help, I have a Raleigh Back Alley, wonderful bike except for the handle bars. Am getting older and after riding a few hours being stooped over- well you get the picture. Anyway can anyone recommend a compatible replacement?
Thanks!

What kind of handlebars are you looking for? Do you want flat/riser bars, drop bars, bullhorn/aero base bars or maybe some alternative bars? Any bars will likely work so long as the clamp diameter is the same or if you replace the stem. However some bars will need a shorter or longer stem. If comfort is the name of your game you might want to go get a bike fit because maybe the bike is the wrong size or it just isn't dialed in for your fit.

handle bars
Thank you for your reply.
Comfort is priority, the bike fits me great.
My concern is finding handle bars that will fit in the goose neck double bolt clamp, it's large.
I checked the Raliegh Web Site, it seems that the Back Alley model is no longer offered.

It looks like you just need handlebars that have a 31.8mm clamp diameter. Raleigh Bikes, 2018 Back Alley Alloy, 31.8, 7 Deg Rise, 105mm Extension (90mm for Small)

31.8 gives you gobs of options. I'd probably go with Soma Dream bars personally.

Clarify current bike model and handlebars....
What kind of handlebars are you looking for? Do you want flat/riser bars, drop bars, bullhorn/aero base bars or maybe some alternative bars?....If comfort is the name of your game you might want to go get a bike fit because maybe the bike is the wrong size or it just isn't dialed in for your fit.
Or: You may have bought a track/drop bar bike when you may be wanting/needing a swept back
"Touring" bike like an old Raleigh Sports or Sprite.
It might help to start at the beginning:
Do you own this bike(or very similar)?
2018 RALEIGH RUSH HOUR TRACK BIKE <<< DROP Handlebars.
Or this bike?
2018 Raleigh Back Alley<<<RISER/FLAT Handlebars
The two models above are basically the same bike with different handlebars.

Some handlebar ideas...
North Road Bars? Hipster not included. May require batteries.
Drop and give me 50!
