How much is an ENTIRE Shimano 105 group set?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

How much is an ENTIRE Shimano 105 group set?

So Shimano does not sell entire group sets, but I am building a Specialized Allez from just the frame with either Ultegra R8000 or Shimano 105. How much would an entire set be for 105 with disc breaks or without disc breaks. It's honestly really confusing and I just want a solid number.

Texas CycleSport sells the entire 7000 group. Crank, B-Bracket, brakes, shifters, F&R derailers, cassette, chain for $605 but shows it's currently out of stock.

What happened to the Trek? You had four or five threads going on about that thing.

Like most of these sort of posts I guess he will take in all the advice and then do something completely different to what has been suggested.

Well, a quick change from the frequently mentioned Trek! How about a pic? When will you know if you've made the team?

What kind of bottom bracket does that Allez have? Is it BB30? In which case a complete groupset might not be the best choice as Shimano cranksets don't fit into BB30 (at least not without a converter bottom bracket).

I'm more curious about Shimano. They put a stop to Shimano sales to North America from EU back in January.

Merlin still lets me put an Ultegra group in the checkout with US delivery. Maybe they are a holdout?

Lots of places sell entire 105/R7000 groupsets. A few sites have been linked above.

If you shop around you can get a rim brake group for a little over $600.

Merlin sells hydraulic groups for $682.23 without rotors. Adding rotors will increase cost to $725-ish.

Crap, for $600 you can buy a new Centaur group 11 speed. This stupid move by Shimano can only help Campagnolo since now the old "Campy is too expensive" excuse is no more.

If you shop around a little more, you can find it under $500 from a US based vendor.

The old- 'But its still Campy' excuse will very much be able to continue.
