Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I know the TI stands for Tube investments who bought/merged with Raleigh in 60s.

All of the Raleigh track frames I've seen from the 60, 70, 80s were handmade (a lot were made by Carlton and others) and were pretty sweet. I'd definitely pick up another (have a Raleigh Pro Track Frame from 72).

Not too sure what else there is to tell without getting into specific models etc. But theres two reet nice ones for sale on ebay right now (both 531)

Raleigh were still making some good bicycles at this point.
