Cops are loath to stop cyclists who are speeding or running stop signs. Maybe that attitude extends to robbing banks. You know, as long as they're not doing something serious like holding up car traffic.

Used to live in that neighbourhood. There was a period of about two years a ways back where there was a bank robbery a month between there and Albuquerque.
