1980's BIANCHI CAMPIONE D'ITALIA. What's worth?

Hi,

I'm looking for a nice bike for commuting in Brooklyn, NY. And I saw this one being sold.
They ask for $750 and I wanted to know if it was worth that money.

THIS IS THE INFO PROVIDED:

This mid-to-late 1980's BIANCHI CAMPIONE D'ITALIA was apparently the last year they were truly made in Italy (before being exported to Taiwan).

Light use over the past few years. The bike is in excellent condition and last serviced in Nov 2019 (cables, gears, truing, lube, etc). Some paint splashes and scratches throughout from use. No pedals. Feel free to reach out with questions or more photos:

52cm Bianchi Campione d’Italia 9 speed
BIANCHI EXCLUSIVE DOUBLE BUTTED CRO MO TUBING
FULLY LUGGED FRAME
"Campy" Campagnolo Mirage 9 Speed Gruppo
Mavic XP21 wheelset (recently trued) 700x22
Clincher Racing Bicycle Vittoria Zefir 700x22

Thank you,
Alvaro

Not even close to worth $750

Reports from virus central..

Its a Seller's Market in NYC

NB: since people can't adequately distance from others on the subway, or bus , they want to buy bicycles now..
you are competing with all those other buyers..

Both posts 2 and 3 are right. You may want something different than a racing bike for a NYC commuter.
