Speedplay Frog grease port
Does anyone happen to know what size screw is used in the grease ports on Speedplay Frog pedals? I've been meaning to replace one with a stripped head.
Incidentally, I have two pairs of the pedals, and one pair has screws with hex sockets, but the other has Phillips-head screws. The screws seem to be the same, otherwise. The stripped head is the socket-head-type.

I believe they are M3 bolts but a call to Speedplay should get you the exact size and probably free replacements. I had several pairs of Frogs over the years and the grease port screws came in both Phillips and hex types so that is normal.

Just checked mine, the phillips flathead screw in the pedal on an eyeball check seems smaller than an M3
screw and indeed a genuine M3x0.5M screw does not thread into the pedal. I don't have any smaller taps than
M3 coarse/fine but they do look larger as well but suggest that the pedal screw is close to 0.5mm thread,
but without a lot of magnification distinguishing between 0.45mm and 0.5mm thread is hard and probably
irrelevant to the short pedal screw. I would go with 2.5M screw size, but IME calling Speedplay is best
bet. Finding a 2.5M screw would be hard but McMaster has them in 2.5M and 2.6M.

I'm pretty sure we've got some M2.5 screws at work. I'll have to compare.
In any case, I did contact Speedplay. They didn't tell me what kind of screws they are, but they dropped a replacement screw in the mail. I haven't received it yet, but I don't expect any problems.

I needed one screw; SpeedPlay sent me two. I think they arrived on Tuesday. It looks like they're M2.5x5mm flat-head stainless screws.
