Waterproof shoe covers?
After another morning ride in the rain, I figure it's time to invest in some shoe covers to cover my cleated road shoes. The problem is that I can't find anything that has decent reviews. I just want something to be as close to waterproof as possible. I recognize that nothing is going to prevent my feet from getting wet at all, but if someone can suggest a product they've had good luck with, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks,
Gregg

The ones I had were a cottage business and that in the 90's so very much no longer made..
Used a pedal extender to not wear a hole in them rubbing against the crank arms..
I now Plod along wearing a cyclist's rain cape, platform pedals, and wear LL Bean rubber bottom shoes.. in the rainy season..
I'll let others tout current purchases..

I was about to pull the trigger on a pair of Grip Grab covers for my Shimano MT5s but then COVID hit and they were forced to shut down their online sales temporarily. I see they are up and running again. They were great at answering any questions that I had with respect to their product line. I even sent them an image of my shoes and they provided a couple of recommendations based on my size and shoe style. It appears that one of the two covers that was recommended to me has sold out while the other option has a slightly lower waterproof rating though I may still order them. Feel free to reach out to them as I did and I'm sure they will respond in kind.

If you are riding with cleated road shoes you have to have a giant hole in the middle of the sole of the shoe cover. As well, unless you wear waterproof leggings water will run down your legs into the shoe covers. I commuted for 25 years in all weather and never found any shoe cover that prevented wet feet during a one hour ride in the rain
