Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Hey, I'll take them for you. Just send 'em my way, and you'll never have another problem with them again.

More often than I replace mine. Seriously, it's supposed to last a very long time. I inspect the tape whenever I have the tire off. The tape I'm replacing was original to this wheelset that has thousands of miles on them.

Put a new Brooks Swallow on my Madone last night. Feels great, right out of the box and looks more like it belongs on a modern frame. Put the existing B17N on my old Nishiki where it looks much more at home. The B17N was comfortable, but it took a fair amount of wear and tear to make it that way.

Ordered a 500 in neutral but got the dreaded email from PBK that color is not in stock for a month. Settled for the blue/white plus a gift card for my troubles. Whatever, but like the neutral for the CX-1

I have been sitting on this poster for a few a few years an finally decided to do something with it. so I took it to Michael's and spent a small fortune making it an Object de' Art. next I need to find that print of the three racers smoking. OH I have also bought a ton of bike parts lately some cable sets, some cheap spd pedals, bar tape, a freehub to change a set of 6spd wheels to 7, and....

Ordered the Nashbar road frame to temporarily replace my 5200 frame that is out of commission for a while. Should be here early next week, and hopefully I'll be back on the road by next weekend.
