Bike Shop Bay Area (CA)
Does anyone have any insight to a reputable LBS in the bay area? Looking for a place that may possibly sell Cannondale but not required. People who are helpful, down to earth, and not stuck up would be awesome Thank you.
PS... problem we have had with some is that hubby is tall and a lot of shops haven't had his approx size in stock... he more than likely will need a 62-64cm frame as he is 6'6"

Where in the bay area? It's a big place with a lot of bike shops.
My favorites are Chain Reaction and Go Ride both in Redwood city, and especially Cupertino Bike in Cupertino. None are Cannondale dealers though.

There's alway the obligatory Mike's Bikes (www.mikesbikes.com) you can visit. They have stores all over the Bay Area and are a high volume Cannondale/Specialized dealer. They're your typical big box style retailer that sells in volume. Go Ride down in Redwood City (https://www.goridebicycles.com/Site/Home.html) always has a good stock of last year's closeouts at really great prices. I bought an 09 Caad 9-6 from them last year for $850. If you're in San Francisco check out Big Swingin' Cycles (https://www.bigswingincycles.com/) on Van Ness. Not as much stock as the others, but you'll get more personalized experience there. There's tons of others but these are a few that I'm familiar with.

Chain Reaction in Redwood City. Professional, knowledgable, and they will not let you walk out with a bike that doesn't fit. Trust me, I tried. You won't go wrong with these guys.

I agree that Cupertino is good, talk to Shannon. Also take a look at La Dolce Velo as Rob is usually willing to swing a deal to get your business. Dont think he has Cannondale, but he has several others, I bought my Jamis there at 48% off.

If you are in the East Bay, I've had good luck with Livermore Cyclery (both Dublin and Livermore locations), California Pedlar (Danville), Sharp's (lafayette) and Robinson Wheel Works (San Leandro). There are tons of well regarded shops up in Oakland and Berkeley, but I haven't used them.

+1 for Go Ride Bicycles in Redwood City. Got an 09 Cannondale Six 5 for a great deal.
Also check out Sports Basement, 2 locations in SF, 1 in Sunnyvale, 1 in Walnut Creek. Pretty big bike selection.

Thanks for the input guys. I will put GoRide in Redwood city on the list as well as Chain Reaction and Cupertino cycle sincy they are all relatively close. I was at sports basement last night and they did have a large selection but nothing in hubby's size that he could sit on. Thanks for all the recommendations...
