Took the Giant Roam out for another 'gravel grind' in and around the Ironbarks. Did about 38km (23 mi) all up. A very wet summer down here in Aus...

Last tango before Finn arrives

The snowman is showing his age, but neighborhood kids may have more to work with once Finn passes through.

Rode 11 miles this afternoon. Once Winter Storm Finn arrives, we won't have good riding conditions for at least a few days.

OK riding conditions today since Winter Storm Finn delivered more rain than snow. On Friday, Winter Storm Gerri may bring more snow, and it will stick given falling temps. Monday's high is predicted at 2 degrees F

Trains were significantly delayed when I finished work, so it was a good excuse to ride home on a warm summer's afternoon...

First ride in 15 days

It's still foggy and drizzly, but the snow and ice are gone.

Local park just redid their inner loop trail. I made a couple loops. Mainly to test ride the 90's Raleigh C-30 that I just picked up. Short ride, but outside and on a bike is always good. Cranked up some Toby Keith and enjoyed the day

Very pleasant day here in Aus yesterday, so I took the bike out for a quick spin along Gardiner's Creek Trail and the Anniversary Trail, which wend their way through Melbourne's leafy east.

Along the way I've been collecting golf balls that get washed up along the creek and selling them on facebook marketplace. I've now amassed a small fortune - potentially enough to buy a new bike

Photo is from the verdant Anniversary Trail in Melbourne's east
