Think I saw evidence of a bear riding home today. Pulled of the trail for a nature break and shade. Saw a big pile of poop. If it was from a human, the person deserves a medal for holding that much in. Thing is, there were no human footprints in the somewhat muddy ground. But there were some paw prints.

....and then someone found some smudged TP in the bushes nearby.
No one ever fessed up to it. (Wasn't me, honestly.)

Those aren't bad prices, honestly. For the versatility and the fact that you can and will wear it more frequently than pretty much any other single on-bike garment (you don't need to wash it between uses, yadda, yadda)...
Than again, you need to keep some cash on-hand to buy my Wahoo, so...

That wasn’t me rolling my eyes that was more of I wish. That is a good price on that Gilet but can’t do it right now.

bampilot06 - Rapha sale is live. "Dark Yellow" gilet is available at $87 or there's an insulated version for $117.

understood - sales don't always come my way at the right time, either.
We should have our club kit (yeah, I said it, MoAlpha) in a few weeks. Hopefully the vest has the two-way zip, but I can't remember if it does. If not for the fact that I'll have to shell out for the new kit shortly, I'd be more temped to splurge on the Rapha sale.

My club "gilet" has only a one-way zip, but I have a fancy, print-free, wind jacket with slits in the back to access the jersey pockets. They close with little magnets, which stick to everything and are near impossible to use.

If only you had a rocking chair and bench to sell...

It took me more than a year with my vest to figure out that I could unzip from the bottom and magically have much easier access to my rear jersey pockets. i R dum.

I've got a click, now.
I thought that it was from some mud/grit that I'd stepped in last weekend when I came a cross some construction, but cleaning out the cleats and injecting new grease in to the pedals didn't get rid of it. It's definitely pedal/crank, though - it's only happening on the left pedal down-stroke. It almost sounds like when the end of the shift cable is hitting the crank arm, but it's not that.

This does remind me that I need to adjust the FD high limit screw, the outer cage just kisses the inside of the crank arm when you perform a full shift. One trim click gets rid of it, and I only remember that it does it when I'm out on the road shifting from the little ring to the big one.

The other day, I ordered two bearings from Amazon for the rear Assault. They arrived today while the kids and I were out on a walk this morning. A couple hours later, as I was putting the little girl down for her nap, I got a text and an email, with a photo of an envelope on my doorstep, notifying me that my order had been delivered. WTF?
Went downstairs, opened the door, and there was the envelope. Opened it up. One bearing. Went to the table with the envelope from earlier in the day. One bearing. I guess that none of the warehouses had more than one bearing, but jeez does that seem ridiculous.
