2011 Devinci Dixon RC SPlit Pivot part inquiry
Hello!
I recently purchased a used bike to get into mountain biking with my friends. Which I found a 2011 Devinci Dixon RC for a good price. I took it down to my local shop to get it checked out and they said that the major problem was the split pivot. Specifically they wrote down that the left-hand side split pivot bolt was stripped.
They said that they can't source this part and I would have to contact Divinci themselves to see if they have the part.
Wouldn't the part just be a new thru axel? Or are they talking about the concentric dropout pivot? Or something else?
I can't post any pictures but the rear thru axle handle is missing and the bolt that the handle is suppose to be on is stripped.
I'm no expert, so I just want to understand what they are referring too.
Thanks for any help!

Sounds like a suspension pivot.
