Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cleat issue, shimano, left foot

Hi all,

What can I do to fix this issue:
my left foot, in new Bont Helix shoes with cleats all the way rearward, is not far enough. I need to move the left cleat back another couple few mms. How do I accomplish that?

It was suggested shimano makes a plate for this but I can find no such thing.

Please advise.

Can you move the opposite cleat instead?

There are no extension plates for Shimano, only Speedplay has those. The only option I see without changing shoes is drilling new holes in the soles.

Shimano does indeed have a plate with 2 separate 2 hole positions.
https://www.amazon.com/Shimano-SH-A200-4-Hole-SPD-Cleat.../B00VNKXAXKGoogle spd cleat nut of spd cleat plate and more choices will come up
