Best Replacement Sealed Bearings
Anybody have recommendations for a good set of sealed bearings for a track hub? I was playing around with my rear wheel yesterday and I noticed the bearings have gone a bit crunchy. I'd like something that is fairly durable in wet and potentially dirty conditions if possible. I'd be willing to spend more for peak reliability and longevity.
Thanks!
Thanks!

When the stock bearings in my Surly “New” Track hub conclusively failed a couple of years ago I bought Phil Wood sealed bearings built by NTN and had the LBS install them. They are soooooo much better it is astounding. I think I paid around $30 for the pair and it was well worth it!

I ride over dirt, gravel and paved roads including chipseal, neglected tarmacadam and occasionally concrete, and so far so good.
