Wheel clip vs wheel magnet

I just realized the new folding bike that I bought has a magnet that is as unreliable as Tern's because of the way the bike folds: 20? Catapult ELITE Dark grey - Tabibitho Bicycle

I stumbled upon this post of someone managed to overcome this by changing the wheel magnet to wheel clip: https://bywafu4u.wordpress.com/2013/...agnetic-wheel/

Can anyone help identify the name of the part? Thank you.

I have bought both but the magnetix 2.0 fit better as it allows more tolerance than the clip system. So on my bike I have the magnet installed.
For the clip I bought it in the dutch shop "fietsvakshop"
If you want I can send it to you at reduced price, the one I have is as new and unused :-)

For some reason, 1) Dahon/Tern keep on using magnets although they don't work well and 2) that "Dahon snap-lok" is very hard to find.

No problems yet with my Dahon Boardwalk magnet closure...except a little rust!

Yes, it's odd that the Snaplok is so hard to find, considering it looks like a much better solution than the magnets Dahon/Tern keep using.
