Atala 2000 3speed folding bike???

I just scooped an Atala and I don't even know how to change the rear intertube! I know nothing about this bike. Any information would be great. Thanks.

Atala the Hun

is it practical to change a rear 20 inch innertube on a 3speed Atala2000 without removing the rim and gear assembly?

.

Since it's an internal geared hub, you need to remove the cable for shifting. Then remove the rear wheel as you would with any other bike. As for your question about changing the innertube without removing the rear tire, I don't think that's going to be possible with your bike. LoL! What brand of rear hub is it? There are videos on YouTube that could help.

On some bikes this can be done but it is usually best to either remove the indicator chain or disconnect it before removing the wheel. Google Sturmey Archer indicator chain.
