I have an old Aerovironment "Charger" bike that I'd like to restore/upgrade. It quit working properly when it was living a damp life about 15 years ago. The battery compartment case is mysteriously held by something near the middle of a side cover, but I can find no sign of a fastener outside. Maybe something melted? Any advice and leads on parts would be appreciated.
