Rolls Royce Flying Taxi (quiet!)
Consider this a peace offering for the bickering over flying cars in another thread. Rolls Royce plans to have this quiet vtol electric 5-person taxi available in a decade. Who believes it will happen and who thinks it's a flashy idea to promote stock purchases? Actually, this is LCF so the real question is would you expect such flying taxis to be reserved for corporate elite travel, or can you imagine it being a practical/affordable option for a certain subset of travelers? Or do you think small vtol flying taxis could totally replace the current airport/airline model of air travel? Even if they're quiet, would it really be good to have all those small aircraft all over the sky all the time? Would FAA ever warm up to the idea?
