I am going insane

that does it I give up, I quit, I can’t take it anymore going to get out my frozen mug and put in an ice cold beer go outside only where I can roll this scooter and enjoy nature. Watch the deer and the rabbits and all other creatures. I know , I know it could be a heck of a lot worse . I’m use to physical activity and being on my caboose for 4 weeks is driving me into the funny farm. I don’t need a prescription for Bud Light in fact it’s still over the counter Good thing there is Monday Night Football.

I have sometime to browse the online bike supply businesses and have come up a lot of upgrades I really don’t need.

I'm afraid I'll be in your position very soon. I will be having a cervical surgery to replace a herniated disc. I am a terrible person to be around when I can't ride or be active. Stopped riding a few weeks ago because it was just too uncomfortable. My wife was yelling at me last night as I was splitting and stacking firewood. I don't think she understands how much needs to be done before I am laid up. Thank goodness I can peruse cycling sites (I'm sure there's stuff I don't need out there too) and Craigslist.

A Bud Light isn't a beer. It's a BSO--beer shaped object. See what I did there?

i
I scrambled to do last minute chores etc etc . I was riding up until it was no fun because my foot hurt too much so I concluded just get it over with. Spinal injury is serious I hope you recover well and don’t go insane from boredom.

I think you just did
1. New fancy racing saddle for my fatbike
2. New cool stem and riser hande bars
3. GPS for all my bikes
4. Platform pedals with optional spd clipless capability for fat bike
5. New shades with prescription lenses
6. Various tires for all bikes

I’m calling Blue Cross Blue Shield Of Texas hopefully they cover bike upgrades.

I'll be searching for the old saddles, no longer made that I love to ride and And, some of the old vintage parts I like.

Of course, every time I walk into my shop I will longingly look at the wall wishing I could take one down to enjoy. At least I left one on the indoor trainer for the time when clearance comes and I can use it.

Um, that is cool. A fat bike is something I don't have yet. Hmmm. If it wasn't for the engine rebuild happening right now on another vintage vehicle I could be tempted.
